SCITECH SNAP GRAPHICS WITH DPVL SUPPORT

SciTech SNAP Graphics with DPVL support, on select ATI and Intel hardware. This feature, when used in conjunction with VESA DPVL capable displays communicates directly with the video buffer on the display hardware, by manipulating the stored buffer the display image can be easily spread over several connected displays, thus providing a lower cost, low power, multi-display solution for financial, medical and informational kiosk environments.

DPVL support is offered in two versions to fit your budget and performance needs.

The Basic Edition supports an unlimited number of displays but is best used in a 2 or 3 panel environment where screen update frequency is not considered to be the key priority.

The Extreme Edition has the same features as the "Basic Edition", but also adds the power of SciTech's exclusive priority accelerator, providing faster screen updates to accomodate a greater number of attached displays.

SciTech's Priority Accelerator employs an intelligent update algorithm, which tracks region updates, and automatically adjusts refresh priority to better match the demands of the user environment. SciTech's Priority Accelerator provides increasing benefits in DPVL environments where 3 or more displays are attached to a single DVI connector.
