SciTech Introduces a Revolutionary New X Windows Graphics Driver
Solution for Blade Client based Networks.

SciTech Software, Inc. today announced the release of SciTech
SNAP
Graphics BC (Blade
Client), a highly optimized version of its popular SciTech
SNAP Graphics Technology. SciTech SNAP Graphics TC includes
robust support for leading graphics devices from ATI, Intel
and Matrox, in a powerful lightweight package, which can be
easily configured and managed from a remote server.
SciTech
SNAP Graphics BC is a server-based driver solution
designed to make business leaner and more efficient. Centralized
graphics driver management allows for a dramatically simplified
support model, upgrades to the driver need only be installed
once and will be instantly available to all attached and
licensed machines. Deployment costs are reduced,
with simple to use,
install and forget drivers. By utilizing SciTech SNAP Graphics

manager. The network license manager makes it simple to
distribute SciTech
SNAP in a first-come, first-served manner; with the ability

SciTech SNAP Graphics BC for X Windows,
includes a glimpse into the future of display driver technologies
with the
addition of DPVL support on select ATI hardware. This
feature, when
used in conjunction with VESA DPVL capable displays communicates
directly with the video buffer on the display hardware,
by manipulating the stored buffer the display image can
be easily
spread over several connected displays, thus providing
a lower cost, low power, multi-display solution for financial,
medical
and informational kiosk environments.
