Renew Agreement to Provide Leading Edge Solutions for Next
Generation Hardware

Software, Inc. today announced an agreement
with ATI which will enable
SciTech to add advanced multi-OS support for ATI's latest
mobile, desktop and embedded visual processors in future
versions of SciTech SNAP Graphics. This agreement further
extends a longstanding relationship between the two companies
and provides SciTech's customers with the confidence in
knowing that ATI hardware will continue to be well supported
in future releases of the SciTech SNAP Graphics.The
existing relationship between the two companies has previously
been focused on
servicing the needs of large
customers and OEM’s. With this latest announcement
SciTech will be better positioned to extend its support of
ATI’s visual processors into other markets such as
the Industrial embedded markets and continue to support existing
large enterprise customers.

The version of SciTech SNAP Graphics that
ATI licensed for use with RAGE MOBILITY™ and Radeon™ graphics
cards is a special edition that includes a sub-set of the
powerful features found only in SciTech SNAP Graphics
for OS/2. The SciTech SNAP™ device driver technology
allows graphics card manufactures to focus on developing
powerful hardware solutions, with the confidence of knowing
that their cards will be compatible with the maximum number
of end user machines regardless of operating system.
