SciTech Software Inc. Announces Its Most Significant Upgrade

SciTech restructures to provide a positive environment for
growth and development of new technologies.
Chico,
Calif. April 19, 2002 - SciTech Software Inc. announced today that it has completed
work on its latest development, the restructuring and reorganization
of the corporation. This move is designed to allow SciTech
to better serve its existing customers while allowing for
growth in new and emerging markets. A host of changes have
taken place with more to come in the next several months.
As part of the restructuring company founder Kendall Bennett
has reassumed the role of CEO.

needed a fresh start and an improved focus - our new structure
will help to ensure that we remain true to the original promise
that made our past products successful, " said CEO Kendall

Part of
the restructuring involves the release of a new technology
called SciTech SNAP. SciTech SNAP will take device support
to the next level of compatibility, performance, and reliability
with a level of customization never before thought possible.
The SciTech SNAP device driver architecture promises to reduce
development time and associated costs for hardware manufacturers
looking to add additional support for embedded systems customers.
SciTech SNAP is based on the proven SciTech Nucleus Technology,
which has been deployed on hundreds of thousands of machines
worldwide.
