With Full 2D Graphics Acceleration
-
SciTech SNAP Graphics for Qt/Embedded provides developers
with performance they can really see.
Chico, California --
(January 22, 2003) -- SciTech Software,
Inc. today announced that it has completed the initial release
of SciTech SNAP Graphics for Qt/Embedded - SciTech's next
generation embedded display driver solution. This release
is based on SciTech latest System Neutral Access Protocol
(SNAP) architecture and shows SciTech's resolve to further
enable the emerging embedded market with a level of graphics
performance usually reserved for mainstream desktop machines.
SciTech SNAP Graphics for Qt/Embedded offers accelerated 2D
graphics support, for fillRect(), blt(), scroll(), drawLine(),
full off-screen video memory buffers and much more.
"The device driver architecture
that Mr. Bennett envisioned nearly a decade ago when he founded
SciTech, and which also served as the rallying point for our
restructuring has now come to fruition," said Andrew
Bloo, Director of Sales and Marketing for SciTech Software
Inc. "We are looking forward to working with developers
as they begin to dream up the next generation of embedded
applications free of dumb-frame buffer limitations."
Custom versions of SciTech SNAP Graphics
for Qt/Embedded can be licensed directly from SciTech. SciTech
