SciTech MGL 5.0 R10 Released and
Removes Need for X on Linux
Chico, California -- (June 3,
2003) -- SciTech Software, Inc.
today announced it has released SciTech MGL 5.0 R10 for multiple
operating systems including Linux, under a dual-license structure.
Developers can now use SciTech MGL under the Lesser General
Public License (LGPL), or through SciTech’s commercial
software license for those seeking to offer closed source
solutions. Both versions come complete with source code and
more than 1600 pages of online documentation.

graphics library for Linux, QNX, OS/2, DOS, Windows and embedded

to produce leading edge desktop or embedded applications
for multiple OS’es and increases the flexibility of
Linux development by making X completely optional. The latest
version of SciTech MGL represents more than a decade of refinement
and boasts a huge base of high performance C, and C++ graphics
